Description
The Destroyer is a black gun with white markings and red glowing tubes on it. The Destroyer shoots red streams of energy at a constant pace towards the enemy. Since its stats are moderate, it is a balanced gun that is useful in almost all cases.
History
The Destroyer was first seen in Raze 1 where you have to defeat the highest alien commander on the boss level of the human campaign. It was known to "evaporate" its enemies and under normal circumstances, can kill a Raze Soldier (Raze 1) from full health in 5 shots. Its projectiles take time to reach its enemies and travels in a straight path, so it was kind of like an upgraded assault rifle from Raze 2.
The Destroyer from Raze 1 also had a huge clip and shoots as fast as a Destroyer from Raze 2 coupled up with rapid fire.
Countermeasures
- Combat Armor (Destroyer needs two more hits to kill one)
- Adrenaline Boost (Destroyer can't kill one with 4 shots)
- Medipack (Gives one some health)
- Emergency Heal (Surpasses damage)
- Shield Battery + Flux Capacitor (will allow one to take a lot)
Notes
- The Destroyer on Raze 2 under normal circumstances deals 25% health every hit, which makes it useful for HP calculation and statistics.
- It has a 10 shot ammo, so it should be able to deal 250% damage before needing to reload if the shots all hit (a) target(s).
- It is useful in the Human Campaign as the aliens spawn with 25% shield, so they will be killed in exacly 5 hits from full health
- The destroyer is a good weapon to replace when you're out of ammo for the explosive section.
- Excellent in chases.
