Description
The Plasma Pistol is a small blue pistol with three spike-like things sticking out of it, a bit like a blue-colored Needler for Halo fans. It shoots small bolts of blue plasma in the direction of the opponent. As the plasma bolts are travelling at average speed, the opponent may be able to dodge it, or even flee from the bullet! Or he could use the Static Field ability to reflect it, in which it will home in on any of his opponents in the vicinity, which would most likely be you, given the limited range of this weapon. The Plasma Pistol has balanced attributes and a homing ability which make it a favourite starter in the field, dispite its apparent lack of power. However, it has a very limited range, making it a poor for fast-paced chases. Best for ambushes. Best practised in any maps with tight spots everywhere. Beware of campers!

In the universe, plasma is the most common state of matter for ordinary matter, most of which is in the rarefied intergalactic plasma (particularly intracluster medium) and in stars. Thus, it is not surprising that the plasma pistol would be made by aliens due to the abundance of plasma.
